Fergie’s Fiendishly Funky Friends and Spirit Eggs!
First we’ll take a stroll along the star-laden forest…
Fergie’s Funky Fiendish Friends are made by coloring slip using different materials, such as mason stains. The slip is poured into a mold, and removed at a leather-like stage. At this point they are ‘carved’, decorated, and refired. Some of them are left without a glass glaze cover, which is evident by the pictures. All are colored with various slips, instead of purchased glazes. Some are then coated in a matt or glossy clear glass glaze. Some of the Fiends are highly complex, with their lit faces being quite different than their unlit appearance. Others are simple and primitive. $25 plus S&H.
